Mushrooms to the Moon | UTD ATEC CAPSTONE 2021

Mushrooms to the Moon is a project that creates a walkable 3D environment from a custom 2D illustration
The illustration, created in Photoshop, is translated into 3D assets in Maya. The models are arranged in Unreal to represent what the viewer would experience if they could walk into the illustration.
The project is inspired by nature and fantasy and explores the differences in digital 2D and 3D creation from concept to creation.
